The Manitowoc Country Domestic Violence Center offers safe shelter and supportive services for every adult and child victim of domestic violence and to engage the community in working toward the strengthening of families and prevention of domestic abuse.

 

The mission of Lakeshore Community Action Program is to promote economic self-sufficiency and well-being of low-income persons through advocacy, community education, and resource development in Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties.

 

The Manitowoc Salvation Army
Provides food, social services, daycare, and emergency assistance to those in need.

KAN Back to School is a community ministry hosted by St James Episcopal that provides school supplies for families need in Manitowoc County at the beginning of each school year.
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. The Manitowoc County Chapter is proudly housed at First Presbyterian Church.

Hands of Christ Deaf Ministry is geared to making Christ's loving and welcoming presence directly and personally felt and seen by the members of the Deaf community.

Presbyterian Seminaries provide world renowned education for pastor, missionaries, scholars, and lay leaders as well providing excellent resources for local congregations.
The Presbyterian Coffee Project sells fair trade coffee to church and community members. By working together and pooling their resources to form a cooperative, coffee farmers can sell their coffee directly to international buyers without relying on middlemen. They receive a fair price that not only covers their costs of production but guarantees a fair wage for their labors.
The Presbyterian Hunger Program is a way we demonstrate our love for sisters and brothers by supporting programs which ensure that food is available to those in need while also working on longer-term solutions. While malnutrition and starvation affect more people in developing countries, hunger also stalks the poor in the United States.
